Students who apply early will typically receive an admission decision within a few weeks of submitting all materials, often before the Thanksgiving holiday. That gives you more time to plan, explore campus, and compare options.

While we evaluate all applicants holistically, applying early means your application is reviewed when more spaces and scholarships are available. It shows you're seriously considering FSC, which can be an advantage.

Southern Select is an exclusive, invite-only event for our top admitted students. To be eligible, you must apply and be accepted. It’s an excellent opportunity to connect with other future Mocs and experience what makes FSC special.

Only Early Decision applicants must commit early. If you apply for Early Action or Regular Decision, your enrollment deposit is due by May 1.

Yes! Early applicants are among the first to receive scholarship offers, invitations to special events, and early access to admitted student perks, including exclusive visit programs, priority class registration, and housing when they deposit.

Florida Southern is committed to making a private college education affordable. Our generous merit scholarships are automatic with your application, and we award more than $66 million in financial aid each year. Nearly all of our students—99%—receive financial assistance, and many pay less than they would at a public university. For students who apply and visit, the Southern Experience Scholarship provides an additional award
