I chose Florida Southern because it had the best culture. The people here are genuine sweethearts, there’s a sense of security and care that I didn’t get while visiting other schools. Florida Southern has become home to me and even after two years I still wouldn’t want to go to school anywhere else.
Sammie Evans

I knew that I wanted to get away from the cold New York weather and to an area with warmer weather, so Florida was definitely where I was looking for a school. I choose FSC because I loved how small and personal the school felt. I also really liked that the nursing program is direct entry and nursing classes start freshman year.

When I first visited Florida Southern, I fell in love with it for its academic programs, small-college feel, and location, but the aspect that really set it apart from the other colleges I was looking at was the community. Florida Southern is such a positive, loving place, and I wanted to be a part of that.
