Florida Southern recognizes the academic accomplishments of transfer students who have earned at least 24 transferable credits.

Phi Kappa Theta Award
We are proud to offer qualifying Phi Theta Kappa members who have earned an Associate of Arts degree and have a 3.2 cumulative minimum GPA $2,000 per year. This award may be combined with the Transfer Academic Recognition Scholarship Award.
Students receiving first-year scholarships are not eligible for the PTK award.

Jackson, Mississippi — Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK) has named 150 colleges and universities to its 2021 Transfer Honor Roll in recognition of the dynamic pathways they have created to support transfer students.

Dance Scholarships
Scholarships are awarded based on an audition and interview by the dance faculty. BFA and BA auditions will automatically be considered for scholarship eligibility.

Music Scholarships
Music scholarships are awarded based upon skill level and area of concentration. Additionally, Florida Southern College awards $500 per year to members of an ensemble: band, chorale, orchestra (strings).
