Hollis Fellows in Education

Making a difference has its rewards

As parents of a Florida Southern graduate, Mark and Lynn Hollis established the Hollis Fellows in Education Program to provide scholarships to education majors who plan to pursue teaching careers after completing a bachelor's and master's degree.

Scholarship Criteria

Scholarships are awarded to two first-year students annually and are renewable each year for those who maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA and continue as an Education major. Finalists will be invited to interview virtually with our esteemed faculty and staff.

To be eligible for the Hollis Scholarship, individual candidates:

  • Must have a minimum 25 ACT or 1210 SAT super score.
  • Must have a minimum cumulative high school GPA of 3.0
  • Must major in Education at FSC
  • Must teach for three years in the Florida public school system after graduating from the FSC Master of Education (M.Ed.) program.
