Biography

Jacob Temple is a native of Florida with over 18 years of healthcare experience. His scholarly achievements include a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from Rush University and a Master of Science in Nursing from Florida Southern College. In addition to his academic background, he is a Board-Certified Adult Nurse Practitioner, Board-Certified Nurse Executive (Advanced) from the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), and is Certified in Executive Nursing Practice from the American Organization of Nursing Leadership (AONL). He was a former President of the Polk County Organization of Nurse Executives (PCONE). In addition to his Advanced Nursing Practice work & academic teaching in both graduate & undergraduate nursing that began in 2008, Jacob Temple has held administrative positions including, Chief Hospital Officer (CHO) & Vice President/Hospital Administrator for various not-for-profit health systems whose work in Behavioral Health services (across the lifespan) led to being featured within the Advance for Nurses Journal.
