Florida Southern College Dance Department Celebrates 10 Years with Anniversary Recital: TEN: Past, Present, Pulse

Mar 2, 2026

The Florida Southern College Department of Dance is proud to celebrate an extraordinary milestone: 10 years of dance on campus! This spring, the department commemorates a decade of artistry, growth, and community with a special anniversary recital titled TEN: Past, Present, Pulse.
Performances will take place March 27 and 28 at 7:30 p.m. in Branscomb Auditorium, offering audiences an unforgettable evening honoring the legacy, evolution, and dynamic future of dance at FSC.

Since its founding, the Dance Program has become a vibrant and integral part of the college’s fine arts community. Over the past decade, it has cultivated generations of student-artists, expanded its artistic vision, and fostered a culture of creativity, discipline, and collaboration. From intimate studio showings to fully produced mainstage concerts, the program has consistently demonstrated a commitment to excellence in performance, choreography, and dance education.

TEN: Past, Present, Pulse reflects this journey. The anniversary recital will feature a diverse program that revisits significant works from the department’s early years, highlights current student and faculty choreography, and looks ahead with innovative new pieces that embody the program’s forward momentum. Together, these works celebrate the people, passion, and perseverance that have shaped the department over the past ten years.

The event is open to the public, and community members, alumni, and supporters are warmly invited to join in this special celebration. As the program reflects on ten impactful years, TEN: Past, Present, Pulse promises an evening filled with energy, reflection, and inspiration — honoring where the program has been and embracing the powerful rhythm of what lies ahead.
