Early Admission Has its Perks
We invite you to take advantage of our Early Admission programs! Applying early tells colleges you’re seriously interested and allows you to receive your decision sooner.
Early Decision (Binding)
Early Decision is binding and indicates your plan to enroll if accepted. It’s a great option for students who have done their research early and have already made the decision to attend Florida Southern if admitted.

Not ready for that kind of commitment? Applying Early Action gives you the flexibility to keep your options open since you can apply to multiple schools via Early Action, and you still get a decision sooner!

Get a Head Start
Apply as early as May of your junior year (and no later than November 1), then relax and enjoy your senior year!

Know Your Decision
Whether you choose to apply Early Action or Early Decision, you’ll receive an admission decision by December 15, allowing plenty of time to plan ahead to attend Southern Select, our exclusive invitation-only program for admitted students.

Receive Your Aid
For students who apply early and file the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), you’ll receive your financial aid package by January 1.

Secure Your Scholarships and Housing
Because you’ll receive an early admission decision, you’ll be able to accept our offer ASAP. By submitting your enrollment deposit, you’ll secure your scholarships and hold your place in our residence halls.
