Combining intensive studio work with the traditional liberal arts, our graphic design program encompasses training in designing for both print and web—you’ll study everything from typography to video art.
You’ll be ready to start your career right after graduation or continue your training at the graduate level.
Faculty work with you individually and with student groups in all courses, and we’ve based our critique process on open discourse and evaluation.
Excellent facilities, a talented, enthusiastic, and caring faculty, and a friendly and beautiful campus environment.
Many graphic design classes work on actual design projects for local not-for-profit organizations.
A portfolio review is required for BAs and BFAs in Studio Art and Graphic Design. Deadline for portfolios is March 1.
We’re home to a chapter of Kappa Pi, the international student honorary art society, and to a student chapter of A.I.G.A., the American Institute of Graphic Arts.
Our art majors attend a wide variety of graduate and professional schools.
Full details about the program including admission requirements, curriculum, and course descriptions can be found in the academic catalog.
