During my Senior Seminar class, I looked at strategy from a macro and micro level. I gained the capability of analyzing external factors such as geopolitical mechanisms, the economy, the industry, etc. in order to determine what factors created the current situation and how to use these factors to either mitigate the situation or change the course of it. There's always opportunity. From my first day, I took advantage of the many campus organizations and I am now the president of Enactus, a non-profit business organization. Outside of that, I am a private tutor and the VP of Alumni Relations in Delta Sigma Pi.

I interned for the Marketing and PR department at Naples Zoo, creating many online ads, social media posts, and website design. I also conducted studies on guest experiences, trying to see if our advertising budget was being spent well.

We’re lucky to have companies that come and visit us in our classes. They come and tell us about their internship and career opportunities. Associates from an Orlando-based, non-profit accounting firm (Batts Morrison Wales & Lee) just visited FSC and it was really interesting.

The Business Administration major within School of Business provides myself and my peers with hands-on learning in order to make us critically think about how our lessons would play out in the real world. Classes such as BUS 1115 are focused on putting the student’s entrepreneurial ideas into action in order to apply what we already know

Allison Johnson

I love the engaged learning aspects and love how the professors know who I am. In Psychology I was able to see a human brain and sheep brain my first semester here. In Business Administration, my professor loves to ask us what’s going on in the news and helps us understand the market and stocks a bit more.

Angel Godwin

I love having the opportunity to get super involved and take a hands-on approach in my education.
