Qualifying Phi Theta Kappa members who have earned an associate's degree with a minimum 3.2 cumulative GPA receive $2,000 per year. This award may be combined with other awards, but not with an athletics scholarship. Students receiving first-year scholarships are not eligible.
To be considered, indicate your Phi Theta Kappa membership on your application for admission. Eligibility is determined at the time of admission, so membership reported after your admission and financial aid decision cannot be added to an existing award.

To be considered for additional financial aid from Florida Southern, we encourage all transfer students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Florida Southern's school code is 001488.

Transfer students are also eligible for talent-based and additional awards:
Awarded by audition and interview with dance faculty. BFA and BA auditions are automatically considered.
Awarded by skill level and concentration. FSC also awards $500 per year to non-major ensemble members (band, chorale, strings); auditions required.
Awarded by audition and interview with theatre faculty. BFA auditions are automatically considered.
Talent-based awards based on a portfolio submission.
Florida Southern competes in NCAA Division II across a range of men's and women's sports. Athletic scholarships are awarded by the coaching staff; prospective student-athletes should connect directly with the coach for their sport.
For first-year and transfer students preparing for careers in Christian education, ministry of music, or youth ministry. $2,000 per year. Contact the Chaplain's Office.
If you're a Florida resident, you may already qualify for state programs like Bright Futures and the EASE Grant, and you can use them right here at FSC. State aid stacks on top of your FSC transfer scholarships for an even more affordable path to your degree.
