Experience Scholarship makes it easy to explore all that Florida Southern offers,
allowing you to experience campus life while reducing costs.
Your Visit Pays Off
When you apply and visit Florida Southern, you become eligible for the Southern Experience Scholarship, awarded on top of any other aid you receive from the College.

How to Qualify
To earn the Southern Experience Scholarship:

Submit your application by November 1, 2027. Apply your way, through the FSC Preferred Application or the Common App, whichever is easiest for you.

Schedule a visit through FSC's Admissions office between July 1, 2027, and February 20, 2028. Register for a campus tour or participate an event, any official visit counts.

File your FAFSA as early as possible for full financial aid consideration. It's the single form that unlocks federal, state, and need-based aid.

Enroll as a first-time student, and your Southern Experience Scholarship is locked in.

Scholarship Eligibility and Award Details
Your Southern Experience Scholarship is included in your financial aid award each year you attend Florida Southern. It can be applied toward tuition only and does not cover costs associated with study abroad, Junior Journey, or other off-campus programs.
You will not be eligible for this scholarship if:
- You receive a full-tuition benefit from any other scholarship program.
- You receive an athletic scholarship.
- The combined value of the Southern Experience Scholarship and your other scholarships exceeds the total cost of tuition.
To continue receiving the scholarship, you must remain enrolled full-time and in good academic standing.
