About the Counseling Center

The Counseling Center is part of FSC's Department of Health Services, alongside the Student Health Center and the Office of Health Initiatives and Promotion. Every student's care plan is built around their individual needs across the six dimensions of wellness, supporting your growth as a whole person, not just the challenge that brought you in.

Our Approach: The Six Dimensions of Wellness

Wellness is central to the Counseling Center’s care for all Florida Southern College students. We believe that the Six Dimensions of Wellness encompass not only the student experience but the human experience. Often, when people hear “counseling,” they think of emotional wellness. We recognize that our emotional wellness is integrated into all aspects of our lives and cannot be a spot treatment. Our goal is to expand students' understanding of the college experience by teaching them skills they can use on campus, in their personal lives, and after graduation.

Holistic Wellness is the active, conscious, and deliberate process of unlocking an individual's full potential.
