Student Life

When you enroll at Florida Southern, you don't just gain a credential — you join a campus community that invests in who you're becoming.

A Campus Unlike Any Other

Florida Southern isn’t just a commuter school with a mailing address. It’s a destination — one of the most architecturally significant campuses in the country, beautifully set on the edge of Lake Hollingsworth in Lakeland, Florida. Home to the world’s largest single-site collection of Frank Lloyd Wright architecture and a National Historic Landmark, our campus makes an impression every time you walk through it.

As an adult or graduate student, that matters. You chose to come back to school, and you deserve somewhere worth coming to. Whether you’re here in the evenings, on weekends, or fully online, you’ll find a community invested in your goals and ready to help you make the most of your degree.

Your Advisor Knows Your Name

You won't get a number, a portal queue, or a generic advising appointment. At FSC, your admissions counselor becomes your academic advisor — one person who knows your goals, your schedule, and your path to graduation from day one. They're reachable by name, not by ticket.

You're in Good Company

Adult students at FSC aren't the exception — they're a real part of campus life. You'll find peers who are working professionals, career changers, parents, and veterans. People who chose this because they had something worth coming back to school for and wanted a program that understood that.

Evening and Hybrid Courses

Most graduate and adult programs offer evening classes, hybrid formats, or both — designed around work schedules, not the other way around.

Small Classes, Accessible Faculty

Average class sizes mean your professors know your work. You're not a student ID in a lecture hall.

A Campus That's Comfortable

This campus is beautiful, but it's also functional. Green spaces, dining, wellness center, and other student resources are all within easy reach. By the end of your first semester, it'll just feel like home.

Career Support That Works as Hard as You Do

Florida Southern's Career Services is nationally ranked and available to you from your first semester to long after graduation. You'll get individualized career planning, access to recruiting events, resume and interview coaching, and direct connections to an employer network built over decades.

For working professionals looking to move up, and career changers looking to break in, this is one of the most tangible advantages of an FSC degree.
