Registration and Advising

You can register through the FSC Portal, by email, or in person.

  • FSC Portal: Log in to the FSC Portal with your student ID and password to register, view your schedule, and access grades, transcripts, and course descriptions. To reset your Portal password, call the Help Desk at 863.616.6426.
  • Email: Email your course selection to the Registrar's Office, and you'll receive confirmation by email.
  • In person: Visit the Registrar's Office on the second floor of the Thad Buckner Building, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.

If you have trouble registering online, contact the Registrar's Office at 863.680.4127.

Every FSC student is assigned an academic advisor who helps with scheduling, degree requirements, and academic goals. Talking with your advisor regularly saves you time and tuition. It's your responsibility to schedule advising appointments early and often.

Before the term starts or during the add/drop period, drop a course in the FSC Portal or by emailing the Registrar's Office. After the add/drop period, email the Registrar's Office to be dropped; note that dropping after the deadline has financial consequences. Contact Student Accounts to determine any balance owed, and check the refund date schedule and academic calendar for deadlines.

Paying Your Bill

Billing statements are available in the FSC Portal, not by mail. Log in, select the Student tab, then Financial Information to view your Course and Fee Statement and pay through Transact. The College accepts Discover, Mastercard, Visa, and American Express.

You can pay in full, set up an interest-free monthly payment plan through Nelnet, or arrange employer tuition deferment if your employer reimburses tuition. Full details, including how to add an authorized payer, are on the Payment Options page.

Admitted graduate and doctoral students pay a non-refundable enrollment deposit, applied to your first semester's tuition. Pay it through the deposit link on the Payment Options page. Adult bachelor's programs don't require a deposit.

For questions about aid, loans, and eligibility, see how to fund your degree or contact the Office of Financial Aid.

Records and Transcripts

Order transcripts online through the National Student Clearinghouse for $10 per copy; you'll need a credit card and a valid email. Transcripts are held if you have an outstanding balance. Questions? Contact the Registrar's Office at 863.680.3916.

Log in to the FSC Portal, select the Students tab, and choose Grade Report from the side navigation. Select the term and view your Final Grade Report.

Email the Office of Adult and Graduate Admission to request your FSC student ID number.

On-Campus Essentials

If you take classes on campus, come to campus for clinicals or events, or want to use campus facilities, here's what you'll need. Fully online students generally won't need a parking permit or campus ID, though you're always welcome to visit.

If you'll be on campus, you'll need a parking permit: $40 per academic year, registered through Campus Safety. Register your vehicle in the FSC Portal under the Adult and Graduate tab once you're logged in.

Your FSC ID is free and gives you access to campus facilities, athletics events, the Wellness Center, the library, and more. In the FSC Portal, under the Adult and Graduate tab, follow the guidelines to upload your photo. Campus Safety creates your card, typically ready for pickup within 48 hours.

On-campus housing is available in limited supply to graduate students who hold a conferred bachelor's degree and are in good academic, financial, and disciplinary standing. Space is limited, so inquire early. Adult undergraduate programs do not have dedicated housing.

Order online through the FSC Bookstore, or visit in person Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. (hours may vary in summer and during breaks). Bookstore: 863.680.4186. Note that some programs, including the Teacher Workshops, don't require textbook purchases.

For technical support, start with your instructor. If that doesn't resolve it, contact the Help Desk at 863.616.6426. Video tutorials for the Portal, Canvas, and single sign-on are on the Student Resources page.

Common Forms

You won't need all of these. Your admissions counselor will tell you exactly which forms apply to your program and situation — this list is here so you can find them quickly when you do.
