There are several ways to visit FSC. Take a student ambassador-led weekday tour to preview our campus through the eyes of a current Moc or attend one of our signature events! You can even qualify for a renewable scholarship by visiting, which is awarded upon enrollment.
Held daily, Monday-Friday, these visits include an information session, a walking tour, and the opportunity to visit with an Admissions Counselor. Be sure to chat with our student ambassadors about their Florida Southern experience and get your questions answered; from financial aid to majors.
Attend our open house for high school and transfer students. These immersive Saturday events take you inside residence halls, let you preview exclusive academic and hands-on learning showcases, and more. You’ll be able to mingle with current students and faculty and hear from Admissions Counselors. Enjoy a delicious free lunch and FSC swag, too.
Designed for accepted students, Southern Select is more than just a campus visit. Held each spring, this exclusive program gives you a deeper look at life as a Moc, helping you build meaningful connections with future classmates and faculty through immersive experiences.
Visit. Apply. Enroll. Reap the rewards! Students who visit campus are eligible for our Southern Experience Scholarship upon acceptance. You can qualify for $1,000 to $2,000 per year, depending on your state of residence. Renewable for up to four years.

We love to host transfer students! While daily tours provide a general overview of campus, our Southern Showcase and preview events feature dedicated breakout sessions focused on transfer credit evaluations, housing options, and financial aid pathways unique to transfer students. You can also book a one-on-one meeting with a Transfer Admissions Counselor during your visit.
We recommend scheduling your tour at least two to three weeks in advance, especially during peak travel times like spring break, summer, and fall long weekends. Saturday spots fill up quickly!
We have a large lot for visitor parking directly in front of the France Admissions Center. Most check-ins take place at the Honeyman Pavilion, but you should check the event schedule for your visit to confirm. We also have step-by-step directions to campus, so you can’t miss it.
Dress comfortably in casual clothes and sturdy walking shoes — our campus tour covers a fair amount of ground. It can also be quite warm, so lightweight fabrics and sunglasses are recommended for summer (don’t forget your sunscreen!). During cooler months, light layers or a jacket are helpful.
Florida weather is famously sunny, but quick afternoon showers are common, so you may want to bring a poncho or umbrella just in case.
Summer Preview Day and Southern Showcase events are ideal opportunities to meet faculty from our academic departments and programs. You can choose a breakout session in areas such as business, environmental sciences, nursing, theatre, and more!

Yes! Choosing a college is a family decision. Siblings, parents, and guardians are always welcome on our daily tours and large-scale showcase events.
We encourage it! Trying some of our delicious dining options gives you a true “taste” of FSC student life. Our special events include a complimentary lunch, and if you’re checking in for an official weekday tour, our Admissions team will provide complimentary dining passes for your family to use at Wynee’s Bistro.
