Teaching and Learning Center
The Teaching and Learning Center (TLC) provides professional development and technical
support to help faculty bring engaged teaching and learning practices and tools into
the classroom.
Resources & Sessions
The TLC offers online resources and virtual and in-person sessions for faculty on topics including:
- Engaged teaching and learning techniques
- Classroom and learning assessment techniques
- Collaborative learning assessment
- Rubric development
- Instructional design strategies
- Curriculum design
- Using AI to identify engaged learning opportunities in class
- Teaching with Canvas
The TLC also shares information on upcoming teaching and learning conferences.
Semester-Long Professional Development
Each semester, the TLC offers three to six professional development series that faculty can sign up for. Past topics include:
