
The Forbes 30 Under 30 recognizes 1,230 young leaders and entrepreneurs under the age of 30 who are driving innovation and making a global impact each year. Spanning categories such as entertainment, retail, technology, education, and art, the list highlights changemakers.
These three Florida Southern College graduates are the co-founders of King of the
Curve (KOTC), an innovative app launched in 2020 to help students prepare for exams
like the MCAT, NCLEX, and STEP. With over 400,000 downloads, KOTC strives to eliminate
the stress of last-minute cramming by transforming exam preparation into an enjoyable,
long-term study experience for students.

During their time at Florida Southern College, McIntosh majored in Communication: Interpersonal and Organizational, Rutledge-Jukes in Psychology, and Kelly in Accounting. Their unique academic foundations, paired with their entrepreneurial vision, have been pivotal in the app’s success.
Since its inception, King of the Curve has raised over $1 million, with significant funding from Kapor Capital, which supports efforts to empower students academically from diverse backgrounds. On average, KOTC users invest $17 monthly and subscribe for approximately 6.5 months leading up to their exam dates.
