Master of Accountancy (MAcc)

Graduates of the Florida Southern College MAcc program are prepared academically and intellectually to successfully complete the Uniform CPA Examination and to assume increasingly complex accounting and financial reporting responsibilities. The core courses in the MAcc program meet two Saturdays per month, with remaining assignments completed online in a hybrid format. The path to passing the CPA exam can also be pursued through the CPA Licensure Certificate Program and the MBA with CPA Licensure Certificate Program.

Pathway to CPA

Florida Southern offers specialized coursework designed to help students meet the eligibility requirements to sit for the Certified Public Accountant (CPA) exam in Florida. Courses span the topics essential to the profession, including financial accounting, managerial accounting, taxation, auditing, and business law, and are taught by experienced faculty with industry expertise.
