Announced in December 2022, the new Florida Southern College Clubhouse at the Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland, Florida will become the new home for the College’s men’s and women's golf teams. The clubhouse will include new locker rooms for both teams, a players’ lounge, coaches’ offices, a conference room, study area, as well as multiple training facilities including a PuttView putting studio, a fitness area, and two Trackman hitting simulators. The Champion’s Lobby will showcase the teams’ achievements throughout the years, including 17 NCAA Division II Team Championship titles as well as 16 NCAA Division II Indidiual Championship titles. The College expects to break ground for the new project in 2023. The Lone Palm Golf Club was founded in 1964 by Honorary Chancellor George Jenkins, and to this day is still owned by the Jenkins Family.
