The McKay Archives collects, organizes, preserves, and describes the institutional history and records of Florida Southern College, including faculty papers and alumni papers; several Florida politicians; and the history of Florida citrus.

Getting started with your research

We are available to the public and invite research in all our materials.

Hours: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday. Please check the academic calendar for holidays. Please call ahead for specific information: 863-680-4453.

The Center also houses the Governor Lawton M. Chiles Center for Florida History (863-680-4312) and the Ruth K. and Charles T. Thrift, Jr., Florida United Methodist Heritage Center. Arrangements to use the Florida Conference of The United Methodist Church materials must be made through the Conference Archivist (863-680-4992).

The McKay Archives is now by appointment only for Non-FSC Student, Faculty, and Staff researchers.
