New Student Orientation

Welcome to Florida Southern!

New Student Orientation is an exciting first step to becoming part of the Florida Southern community. This four-day program is required of all first-year students and will provide an overview of the extensive range of opportunities available to you at Florida Southern College.

During orientation you will have a chance to:

• Meet other students and make new friends
• Meet with faculty and academic advisers to discuss classes and majors
• Complete your course selections and registration
• Learn about academic expectations
• Learn about the College’s services and resources
• Familiarize yourself with the campus

New Student Orientation begins on Saturday, August 22 and lasts until classes begin on Wednesday, August 26. (Family orientation programming will conclude after lunch on Sunday, August 23.) If you have any questions, please call us at 863.680.4300 or send an e-mail to orientation@flsouthern.edu.
