Campus Life

Florida Southern will be your new home away from home.

You’ll learn amazing things from your professors, but the majority of your time will be spent outside the classroom— getting involved, soaking in the sunshine, and catching up with friends on the most beautiful college campus in the country.

Community Living

Florida Southern’s campus community welcomes you!

With housing options ideally suited for first- and second-year students, as well as upper-class students, we hope you’ll make yourself at home in one of our comfortable first-year halls

Lakeland, Florida

Nestled among about 40 lakes in the heart of central Florida, Lakeland is one of those rare places that truly is in the middle of everything.

With Tampa and Orlando each less than an hour away, you’ll benefit from access to two major airports—not to mention easy access to attractions like Walt Disney World, Universal Studios, Sea World, and Busch Gardens. The white sand beaches of the Gulf of Mexico are an hour west, and the Atlantic Ocean beaches are just 90 minutes east.
