The Modern Language department sponsors two organizations specifically geared to bring majors and minors together—the Spanish Club and Sigma Delta Pi, the nationally recognized honorary Spanish fraternity.
Our students have earned graduate degrees in areas like ESOL, Latin American Studies, and Hispanic linguistics at graduate schools all over the country.
If you choose to major in Spanish, you can combine your language and literature courses with Latin American Studies and be exposed to other disciplines such as politics, economics, film, and theater.
