The Minority Teacher Education Scholars (MTES) program is a collaborative performance-based scholarship program for African-American, Hispanic-American, Asian-American, and Native American students administered by the Florida Fund for Minority Teachers, Inc. (FFMT).
Music scholarships are awarded based upon skill level and area of concentration. Additionally, Florida Southern College awards $500 per year to members of an ensemble: band, chorale, orchestra (strings). Prestige Scholarships are Florida Southern’s most esteemed scholarships. Students interviewing for these scholarships represent the top ten percent of FSC’s applicant pool.
