Educational Background

Bachelor of Sociology from Talladega College. I also have a Master of Education in Administration and Supervision from Florida A&M University.

Where are you from?

Palmetto, FL

What do you enjoy most about working with prospective students?

Right now I’m working with transfer students from all states, including Florida. Transfer students usually have college and life experiences to share, and I love to hear their personal stories.

You’ve worked in the Office of Admissions for nearly 15 years. What do you like most about being involved with FSC’s recruitment efforts?

I enjoy the working environment and character of the personnel. Everyone seems to love working with the students in our community.

What’s your favorite spot on campus?

I enjoy the views from the Nina B. Hollis Wellness Center.

What’s the best tradition or campus event at Florida Southern?

I really enjoy the annual Christmas program by the Music Department.

From your perspective, what is the #1 thing students should check out at Florida Southern?

Aside from the beautiful campus and views, I’d encourage taking the time to sit in on a class to experience the excitement of engaged learning, which is one of the main reasons it’s so great here!

What’s your favorite restaurant off-campus?

Bay Street Bistro. I enjoy the atmosphere and local art. Local entertainment after dinner is also especially good on the weekends.

What about hobbies or outside interests?

Viewing new art — especially at Disney and Epcot. And repurposing and recycling furniture.
