Where are you from?
What do you enjoy most about working in FSC’s Office of Admissions?
I love that no day will be the same and that I get to connect with new students every day to share with them what makes Florida Southern unique. Choosing a college is a big deal and I’m excited to be the one that gets to help students navigate the process and find their home for their collegiate years.
Do you have a favorite spot on campus?
It’s a tie between the Water Dome and our latest addition to campus, the Patriot’s Plaza.
What about hobbies or outside interests?
I’m a big fan of “Netflixing,” baking, and painting. Closer to December, I love taking advantage of my Disney pass and seeing all of the holiday decorations they have up throughout the parks.
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma — which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. - Steve Jobs
Any favorite restaurants or hangouts in Lakeland?
If I’m looking for happiness in a bowl – Tea Largo without a doubt because I will never turn away an opportunity to get my hands on an acai bowl, but I also have a lot of love for Palace Pizza and Spice. Although when it’s the second Thursday of the month, you can definitely catch me grabbing a bite at Nico’s Arepa Grill!
Favorite thing to do in Lakeland on a Saturday?
Saturdays are for the Farmer’s Market, so that would be my first stop. Then Palace Pizza for a slice and garlic knots because they are irresistible. After that you could find me reading a book either sitting around Lake Hollingsworth or by the bridge in Peterson Park.
