Admission Requirements

  • Baccalaureate Degree from a Regionally Accredited Institution
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or better, and a GPA in the major area of 3.2 or better
  • Composite score of 297 on the GRE or 393 on the MAT tests
  • Current Résumé
  • Personal Statement
  • Personal Interview
  • Personality Inventory
  • One semester of student teaching is required before graduation

Prior to admission or within the first 12 semester hours of MAT coursework, a passing score is required on all sections of the Florida (FTCE) Teacher Certification.
