Tim Wright is the Chaplain at Florida Southern College. He graduated from FSC in 1994 and now teaches one class on campus each semester. His primary role is to oversee the religious needs of our campus community.

He also does pastoral counseling that is open to any student, faculty, or staff member where anyone can talk about any topic. Either virtually or in person, Tim welcomes the opportunity to assist.

Tim enjoys seeing students discover who they are, what they want to achieve, and how their faith connects in their lives.

A fun fact about Tim is that he is an avid disc golfer, sometimes joined by Drew Howard from Athletics or Justin Heacock from the Center for Free Enterprise. He plays several times a week and has won three tournaments. In the spring of 2022, he placed third in his age group at the prestigious Throw Down the Mountain event, held in Brooksville, Fla. On the final day of the event, he defeated the top-ranked player in a higher age bracket to secure his third-place finish.

Tim can often be found in the mornings, before coming to FSC, playing the course at Holloway Park. He finds the peaceful setting to be a great opportunity to work on his own mental health, and invites others to walk and talk and play disc golf with him.
