BUS 1115 - Shark Tank Competition

Dr. Silvia Falcon and Dr. Michael Knight have worked diligently to prepare our freshman students in BUS 1115 to compete in the Barnett Business Shark Tank Competition – Fall 2020 Edition. Twenty teams pitch their ideas to a panel of expert judges (i.e. Sharks). The ideas were amazing and the presentations were outstanding, yet one team stood-out and took home the winning prize. The winning team was Farms To Go (F2G), a fresh food concept sold through vending machines. A big thanks to the Peer Mentors, Emilyn Fiorentino, Emma Gallagher, and McKenna Watson!

Student Clubs

The FSC Enactus Chapter hosted a management team from Coca-Cola to work on a waste stream mapping project. Amber Oppliger, Enactus Project Director, did a great job organizing and hosting the campus tour and mapping project. This is a great initiative that will certainly highlight and preserve FSC’s beautiful and pristine campus.
