I believe in a learner-centered teaching philosophy that engages the student in application and analysis of the information. My role is to facilitate their discovery of knowledge and guide the student on how to make clinical decisions and develop clinical judgment.
I grew up in Kissimmee, FL and currently reside in St Cloud (Osceola County). I completed my ADN at Valencia College and my BSN and MSN Nurse Educator degrees at University of Central Florida. I am in my first year of the PhD Nursing Education program at Walden University. My clinical background is in adult critical care, cardiothoracic surgery.
My husband and I have four beloved dogs that we spend the weekends taking them on adventures. I love all things Disney and have been a passholder for over 15 years. I am huge hockey fan and an Orlando Solar Bears season ticket holder.
