Biography
My name is Dr. Keri Matheus. Originally from Mississippi, my family and I moved to Panama City Beach, Florida in summer 2011. While in Panama City, I began my career as a nurse educator and have worked in nursing education since 2013. I am a full-time faculty member at Florida Southern College and teach classes in the BSN and MSN nursing programs. My nursing experience is varied with time spent in Labor and Delivery, Pediatrics, NICU, and Medical-Surgical nursing. I worked as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner for 15 years prior to becoming a nurse educator. My areas of quality improvement are Osteoporosis/fracture risk in women and Hormone Replacement Therapy during menopause.
I have a husband, who is in the military, and two sons, ages 23 and 15. We love to travel and explore the world together.
