Mary Crowe, Ph. D.
Associate Provost of Experiential Education

"Students are our greatest resource; it is imperative that we do what we can to help them to become critical thinkers and to gain other skills they will need to positively impact the world they are inheriting from us. Learning occurs both inside and outside the classroom; classroom knowledge forms the foundation that the experiential education builds up. Experiential opportunities introduce students to the complex, real world problems they will need to solve."

Dr. Crowe is the 2012-2013 President of the Council on Undergraduate Research, an organization dedicated to promoting faculty student collaborations. She is also a F21 member of Project Kaleidoscope and a member of the Association of Women in Science.

Prior to coming to FSC, Dr. Crowe worked at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, Xavier University of Louisiana and Coastal Carolina University. Her graduate degrees were earned at Northern Illinois University and her undergraduate degree was earned at Eureka College.
