Patrick Newman, Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Economics

I strive in all my classes to teach economic principles in a clear and engaging way and use both theoretical and historical insights in order to facilitate learning. Moreover, in all of my classes I strive to emphasize the importance of the entrepreneur and private property rights. I make sure to engage the students through open ended discussion and questions, and expose them to new ideas through advanced readings and other source material.
