Role of the Faculty at Florida Southern College
(from Article VIII of the By-laws of the College)
The Faculty has primary responsibility in the areas of curriculum, instruction, and those aspects of student life related to the educational program, subject to the By-laws of the Trustees of the College. The faculty may recommend for the approval of the President and the Board of Trustees, such regulations as are necessary for the maintenance of high academic standards, and make recommendations relating to requirements for admission, courses of study, academic standards, standards for eligibility for participation in all student activities, conditions for graduation, and the nature of degrees to be conferred.
