How to Register

Trip registration is accomplished through the travel tab on the student portal. The button below will take you to the portal where you will choose which trip you wish to register for.

What’s covered?

When considering study abroad options, it’s helpful to compare fees and consider what is included in the total price. For most study abroad trips, the cost typically includes:

  • Full-service transportation, door to door from Florida Southern to your final destination and back again.
  • All lodging, including on-campus housing prior to trip and throughout your travels
  • Most meals, with a few exceptions. Faculty trip directors share detailed itineraries so you’ll know which meals might not be covered.
  • If your trip allows free time for outside excursions, these are at your own expense.

* Deposit Deadline - Please note that trip space is limited and trips may fill before the deadline date.

** Although some trips are free for Junior Journey eligible students, there is a $100 refundable deposit which will be returned after you complete the trip. All other trips will have a deposit of $350 or more which is a part of the total trip cost.

PERMISSION FROM INSTRUCTOR: Embark on an unforgettable journey through Rome and the Amalfi Coast, where history, culture, and breathtaking scenery come together. In Rome, explore the Colosseum, Roman Forum, and Palatine Hill, where you will experience the legacy of the Roman Empire. Stand in awe of the ancient ruins and marvel at the engineering feats of the past. As you wander through the streets of Rome, you'll encounter countless architectural wonders, museums, and art galleries. During your tour of the Vatican, you will witness the beauty of Michelangelo's masterpiece, the Sistine Chapel, and will have the opportunity to explore the history and majesty of St. Peter's Basilica. From Rome, you'll travel south to the stunning Amalfi Coast, with our second leg of the journey anchored in the charming town of Sorrento, perched atop a cliff overlooking the sea. With its colorful buildings and cobblestone streets, Sorrento is the perfect introduction to the region. We'll visit the picturesque town of Positano, known for its pastel-colored houses and stunning beach. Take in the beauty of the coastline as you explore the narrow alleys and charming shops. Finally, we will visit the beautiful town of Amalfi and will take a tour of the famous lemon groves, followed by an afternoon cooking class with our incredible hosts. Throughout your tour, savor the flavors of the region, from fresh seafood to the famous limoncello. Marvel at the natural beauty of the Amalfi Coast, with its rugged cliffs, crystal-clear waters, and quaint seaside towns. Immerse yourself in the history and culture of Rome, the Eternal City, and experience the charm and beauty of the Amalfi Coast on this unforgettable journey.
