student health

The Student Health Center

Florida Southern’s Student Health Center provides professional, efficient and cost-effective medical care in a comfortable and caring environment. Medical care will be provided by an advanced registered nurse practitioner (ARNP) who is able to diagnose and treat common physical health problems and prescribe medications. Students are asked to inform the Student Health Center of any health conditions or needs that may or may not be in their medical record. This insures proper treatment is given if a medical emergency occurs. All health records are maintained strictly confidential and are securely filed. Information is released only when a student’s permission is given by written consent. Learn more about the Student Health Center.

  • Maintaining an environment that affords both physical and emotional safety and that provides the foundation for personal development and increased self-awareness.
  • Offering meaningful opportunities to cultivate civic engagement and responsible citizenship that embraces and appreciates diversity in all forms.
  • Creating an environment that instills a sense of individual as well as collective institutional pride through a student-centered approach in the development of institutional policies and procedures.
