The office provides a variety of services for our international students enrolled at Florida Southern.

International Student Association advisor Brenda Lewis seeks to have an ongoing relationship with each international student. She strives to assist students with immigration and employment regulations, legal rights and responsibilities, adjustment to Lakeland and the United States, and other various personal concerns.

Once You’re On Campus...

Check in with Brenda Lewis at the Simmons Multicultural Center. As a new first-year or transfer student coming to Florida Southern College you will need to make an appointment to meet with Mrs. Lewis upon your arrival. You will need to bring four documents: your passport, visa, I-20, and I-94.

About to Graduate?

If it is your last semester but you wish to stay in the United States and work, the Optional Practical Training (OPT) application and information may be for you.
