Office of Marketing and Communications

The Office of Marketing and Communications writes, edits, designs, and produces content across a variety of communications platforms, including the Southern News magazine, the College’s website, and its social media channels. We manage day-to-day media relations and can provide media strategic consultation on internal and external communications.

We maintain the college’s overall brand identity, provide design consultation and services, and produce video and photography that helps promote and convey the Florida Southern College story in authentic and compelling ways.

We’re responsible for developing and maintaining the College’s web presence, and we have expertise in content strategy, design, information architecture, and site analytics. Our web team provides consultation and support of the college’s web publishing platform.

The college’s sports information group, which is part of the Office of Marketing and Communications, promotes athletics at Florida Southern College through its varsity sports website, its social media presence, and media outreach.

Finally, we’re responsible for a number of online tools that help the Florida Southern community connect internally and share information externally, including the featured events calendar, campus map, Link parent newsletter, and office pages.
