Dr. Brian Crosby, DMD (FSC Alumnus, '90)
Dr. Brian Crosby


Born and raised in the Lakeland area, Dr. Crosby, his wife and their two sons love the great state of Florida. He has had the privilege of serving patients throughout the area since 1994. Dr. Crosby is a graduate of Florida Southern College with a degree in Chemistry and Biology. Following his undergraduate work, he went on to achieve his Doctor of Medical Dentistry degree from the University of Florida College of Dentistry. As a result of his constant pursuit of becoming a better dental professional, he has received awards for his leadership, achievements, and clinical excellence. He is currently a member of numerous professional organizations.

Dr. Summer Jenks, DVM
Dr. Summer Jenks, DVM


Dr. Summer Jenks is a practicing veterinarian in Lakeland, Florida.  Dr. Jenks received her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from The University of Miami in 1997, her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from The University of Florida in 2003, and completed her internship in small animal medicine and surgery at Hollywood Animal Hospital in 2004.  While predominantly a small animal veterinarian, Dr. Jenks has had limited experience with farm animals while in school, during mission trips to Bolivia and Haiti, and occasional farm calls for friends.  Dr. Jenks is also an adjunct instructor at Florida Southern College where she teaches Biology and Anatomy and Physiology.  Dr. Jenks is active in many community organizations including KidsPack Polk County, Junior Achievement, and Highland Park Church sports and children’s ministries.  Aside from cuddling up with a good book, her favorite thing to do is travel the country and the world with her husband and their three children.

Dr. Christine Morgan, DPT

Christy Morgan, PT, DPT, Board-Certified Clinical Specialist in Sports Physical Therapy, is a physical therapist and Director of Clinical Education for Florida Southern College School of Physical Therapy. She earned her Masters of Science in Physical therapy in 2010, and her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2014, both from Florida Gulf Coast University. She became Board-Certified in Sports Physical Therapy in 2013. She was previously a physical therapist for the University of Florida Running Medicine Team, and clinical mentor faculty for the UF Health Sports Physical Therapy Residency. Research interests include improving running gait retraining in the clinic, swimming, return to sport testing, and bone health in the female athlete. She is an active member of the Running Special Interest Group and Female Athlete Special Interest Group of the Sports section of the American Physical Therapy Association. She has given multiple webinars, podcasts, and lectures nationally on working with the female athlete. She is an alumna of Florida Southern College with degrees in Biology (pre-physical therapy concentration) and Psychology, and swam all four years of college.

Dr. Francis Nuthalapaty, MD

Dr. Nuthalapaty is a Maternal-Fetal Medicine physician at the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital Maternal, Fetal & Neonatal Institute. Nuthalapaty attended the Northwestern University Honors Program in Medical Education, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Engineering from the Northwestern University McCormick School of Engineering (Evanston, IL) and a Medical Doctorate from the Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine (Chicago, IL). He then completed an Obstetrics and Gynecology residency at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (Hershey, PA), where he served as Chief Resident. Dr. Nuthalapaty then completed a fellowship in Maternal-Fetal Medicine at the University of Alabama Birmingham (Birmingham, AL). Dr. Nuthalapaty is passionate about caring for women with complicated medical and obstetrical conditions during pregnancy and postpartum. He recognizes that every woman has a unique background that forms her worldview and focuses on providing compassionate and culturally sensitive care. Dr. Nuthalapaty is a recognized expert in medical education with expertise in curriculum development, program management, and mentoring of both faculty and students. He is passionate about teaching and enjoys partnering with patients to instruct the next generation of physicians and nurses.

Health Professions Expo

The third annual Health Professions School Expo provides an opportunity for students to meet and talk with admissions representatives from health professions schools in the state and across the country. We know it would be impossible for you to visit every school, so we bring the schools to you!

Program/Company Registration

Health profession programs, test prep companies, and scholarship programs are encouraged to register for our Health Professions Expo. In past years over 150 students have attended the fair, with each year seeing increased attendance from the previous year.

School/Program Fee: $50.00

Registration Includes:

  • One 8 foot table and two chairs (linens available upon request)
  • Lunch and snacks for up to two representatives

CANCELLATIONS & NO SHOWS: Cancellations MUST be made in writing to Lauren Albaum (lalbaum@flsouthern.edu); telephone cancellations will not be accepted. No cancellation refunds will be issued after the deadline date of Friday, January 31st, 2020 at 5:00 PM EST. If a registration has been paid and the organization fails to attend the fair, the registration fee will not be refunded.
