Make an Appointment

We are here to help you evaluate your science career options, look for an internship, and prepare for professional school.

Appointments are between 30 minutes to one hour in length and can be made year-round through your Handshake account. Appointments must be scheduled at least 72 hours in advance and are first-come first serve. During peak advising season, appointments may fill up to 2 weeks (or more) in advance. For quick questions, students are welcome to email or attend a drop-in advising session (limited to 15 minutes).

  • Internship/Extracurricular Activity Search*
  • Digital Resume Review

*Students must attend a Pre-Health 101 Workshop before they will be eligible to schedule a pre-health advising appointment. Students must attend the Internship/Professional Observation before they are able to make an Internship/Extracurricular Activity Search appointment.

Drop-In Appointments

Drop-in appointments are available on select Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Please review the event calendar to view the upcoming drop-in advising days and times.

Drop-ins are first come, first serve for brief questions only (typically 10-15 minutes). Students with longer questions should plan to make an appointment.
