St. Louis, Missouri

Educational Background

Bachelor of Science in Biology, with a minor in Psychology from Florida Southern College

What do you enjoy most about working in FSC’s Office of Admissions?

I am so lucky to have a job I love going to each and every morning. The college decision process is an exciting new chapter in a person’s life and I enjoy the opportunity to help students find their perfect college fit!

What’s your favorite thing to do in Lakeland on a Saturday?

Most Saturdays you can find me at the Farmers Market in downtown Lakeland. The fruits and vegetables are incredibly fresh, so I stock up for the week! I can also be found poking my head into Scout and Tag, a great local business in Downtown Lakeland, for a bit of window shopping.

Do you have any favorite music, books, and TV shows?

I love most music and have been raised on 80s and country, but I also really enjoy Imagine Dragons, Jon Bellion and the Wicked soundtrack. I like to read fantasy novels and autobiographies that take place in the 1900s. My favorite TV shows include The Office, Parks and Recreation, and Game of Thrones.

What is something surprising about you?

I went skydiving on a whim with two of my hall mates my freshman year of college here at FSC!

What about hobbies or outside interests?

I enjoy puzzles, board and card games, playing sports, cooking, knitting, and watching the sunset. Traveling is also a passion of mine and I hope to someday travel all over the world. FSC’s Junior Journey gave me the opportunity to spend a month in Spain, where I fell in love with the culture and my amazing host family!
