On working with FSC Admissions

When I was a student at Florida Southern, I joined the Southern Ambassadors team and worked as a tour guide – that was my first on-campus job. From there I grew to love the Office of Admissions and stepped into various roles within the admissions department. Shortly after graduation, I found myself back in enrollment management, diving in to a field in higher education that I truly love. My passion for this area stems from enjoying helping to further individuals with their educational goals. Hearing about everyone’s passions and playing an integral role in their next steps is such a humbling feeling.

Favorite spot on campus

My favorite spot on campus would be the patio seating in front of the Roux Library that faces the Water Dome. I found simplicity and splendor there when I would spend countless mornings and evenings catching up on my studies, immersing myself in the beauty that is Florida Southern.

Favorite local restaurant

I am a pizza addict! You can find me at my aunt’s pizza shop in North Lakeland called Sorrento’s several times a month. Other favorites would be The Chop Shop and Harry’s Seafood Bar and Grille.

Favorite thing to do in Lakeland

Heading downtown for Lakeland’s Food Truck Rally on the second Thursday each month! I also enjoy heading to the Lakeland Farmers Market each Saturday morning with my fiancé and puppy to grab some farm fresh produce and a bag of Ethos coffee.

Favorite Movies

The Greatest Showman, Silver Linings Playbook, A Star is Born, and any of the Marvel movies!

Favorite Books

All the Bright Places, A Walk to Remember, Safe Haven, The Fault in Our Stars, and Looking for Alaska

Hobbies

I enjoy adventuring to new places with my fiancé Adam. We met on our Junior Journey to Spain while we were FSC students and ever since then we challenge ourselves to find fun new spots or a tasty new restaurant around the Central Florida Area. We are definitely foodies so if you ever need recommendations, let me know!
