Kevin Renshler, Ph.D.
Assistant Professor of Business Administration
Dr. Kevin Renshler is an Assistant Professor of Business Administration and teaches courses in strategic management and sports management. He received a BS in biological sciences from The Ohio State University, an MS in exercise science from Miami University of Ohio, and a Ph.D. in sports and exercise management from Ohio State. He has also completed the AACSB post doctorate certification from the Warrington College of Business (University of Florida) in the areas of entrepreneurship and international business. Dr. Renshler comes from the College of Business at the University of South Florida where he served as the Director of the Honors Program in Business. He has also held positions at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Western Illinois University, and Miami University of Ohio.
Outside of the classroom, his research focuses on the factors that influence resource allocation decisions and why organizations become isomorphic over time. Dr. Renshler is a member of the Academy of Management, Strategic Management Society, and North American Society for Sport Management. He and his wife Megan are residents of Lakeland.
