Audition Requirement

Students may be accepted into the Musical Theatre B.F.A. program only through an audition in their area of expertise

Auditions are offered throughout the school year on an appointment basis. The prospective student for the Musical Theatre B.F.A. degree should prepare two contrasting songs, 32 bars or 90 seconds each. Please bring a recording of your accompaniment. For the dance portions of the audition come prepared with dance attire and jazz or ballet shoes with light-colored soles.

Scholarships are awarded based on an audition and interview by the theatre faculty. B.F.A. auditions will automatically be considered for scholarship eligibility.

Clubs and Organizations

The Vagabonds, the oldest student organization on campus, provides performance opportunities in lab productions, improv, and student cabarets.
