Honors Orientation - June 16 and 17
Honors Orientation is an overnight program (for students only) that coincides with our summer Advising Day programs on happening on Friday, June 16, 2017 and Saturday, June 17, 2017. Please note that students must register separately for these two events.
Honors students who are also participating in Advising Day may choose from two schedule options:
Arrive early Friday morning to attend the Friday, June 16 Advising Day, transition to Honors Orientation directly after Advising Day, stay overnight on campus, and depart first thing Saturday morning after breakfast.
Arrive Friday afternoon to attend Honors Orientation, stay overnight on campus, and then participate in the Saturday, June 17 Advising Day after breakfast.
Register before by the June 1 deadline to secure your spot.
What to expect during Honors Orientation
- Spending one night in a residence hall with another freshman honors student
- What to wear: casual clothes, bring a sweater/jacket/raincoat
- Get the most out of the experience by participating, meeting new people, exchanging contact information, asking questions
- Helpful items to bring: bed linens & pillow, towels, change of clothes, toiletries, phone charger, etc.
