Where are you from?
What’s it’s been like working in admissions at FSC?
Nothing is better than meeting students their senior year of high school and watching them transform into independent and capable adults! I love sharing the Florida Southern experience with students, because I know how truly transformative this campus is. FSC is a family, and I have the unique opportunity to introduce students to the endless opportunity that awaits. That’s a pretty awesome job if you ask me!
Do you have a favorite spot on campus?
The best place on campus to take a break would have to be the Buck Stop. It’s a great place to pick up some brick oven pizza and grab a seat under the beautiful tress. It is also right in the center of campus, so the views are incredible. It’s an awesome place to have lunch or curl up with a book while catching a Florida breeze.
What about hobbies or outside interests?
I am an explorer at heart, and as a native New Yorker, my favorite thing to do on my free time is to explore all that the south as to offer. I love finding new beaches to explore and local restaurants all over Florida. Truly, my favorite thing to do is eat and make new memories.
Do you have a favorite restaurant in Lakeland?
Lakeland is home to the best authentic Mexican food, so my favorite spot would have to be Tapatio’s Restaurant Mexicana. While you are there you have to order the Quesadilla Mexican smothered in fresh queso – and don’t forget your Tres Leche dessert!
Describe your favorite campus event.
The Farewell Festival is my favorite campus event! It’s a great way to celebrate the end of the school year and gear up for the summer. We have carnival rides, food, and lots of games. It’s a really fun way to have some fun before finals begin. Think closing scene of Grease – only better!
