Study Abroad › May Option: England
With May Option: England, you will study and travel in the stimulating environment of England.
The centerpiece of May Option: England is Harlaxton Manor, home to the program since 1979. With its magnificent grounds and impressive architecture, Harlaxton Manor, a 150-year-old, 120-room mansion, offers all of the grace and charm one might expect of English country living—with the added surprises of secret passages and "haunted" parlors. It's also a fully functional academic space, with classrooms, a library, and computer labs. For more information about the manor, visit Harlaxton College.
Thanks to the central location of Harlaxton (just outside of Grantham), you are able, (and encouraged) to enhance your experience with trips on your own. The Tower of London, the castle of Edinburgh, the cathedral and walls of York, the mystery of Stonehenge: each is only a day trip away by British Rail.
We also will stay in Edinburgh and London before concluding the program.
