Recently, Florida Southern students had the opportunity to hear Derreck Kayongo, of the Global Soap Project, speak about how cleanliness in times of disaster is an essential part of recovery and relief. In response to this and the current crisis in the Philippines, Florida Southern’s Campus Ministries and Student Government are partnering together to create health kits for relief efforts. You can partner with us to accomplish our goal of creating 1,000 health kits by donating $5 or more (approximately the cost of one health kit) to the Chaplain’s Office of Florida Southern. You can conveniently donate online at www.flsouthern.edu/fsc-cares to help us purchase one or more kits. Students will also have the opportunity to help pack the kits on December 5th at 6pm in the Fannin Center. Thank you for helping to make a difference in the lives of others around the world.
