It’s no secret that people in communities that look out for one another are better equipped to handle emergencies and other situations that come their way. At Florida Southern College, our students, faculty and staff are encouraged to report suspicious circumstances or unsafe conditions in an effort to make this a safer environment for all.

When stray dogs come on campus, several caring staff members rescue them. Several canines were adopted after efforts to locate their owners were unsuccessful.

Staff members have recycled their yard sale or political signs to provide the Safety Office a means of directing folks to various locations when there are special events. After applying a coat of paint and arrows pointing in the right direction, we’ve helped many people find their way without delay.

Each person caring about the environment of Florida Southern College makes this a safe place to learn, work and live.
