Connect With a Close Community

Community life on the Florida Southern campus is about getting connected, and there’s no better place to connect with others than in our spacious, attractive, and comfortable residence halls. As an upper-class student, you’ll have a wide variety of residence halls from which to choose.

Each hall offers the same positive student environment that you may have experienced as a first-year student at FSC, including relevant and motivating programming that continue to help you develop your academic, personal, and social growth. In addition, you’ll have access to a resident advisor for personal guidance, and to the Internet and the campus network

Your choices include:

Wesley Hall

The gift of alumni Carol '79 and Barney Barnett '65, Wesley Hall-named in honor of their son-is the first of two buildings that will compose the architecturally revolutionary Barnett Residential Life Center designed by world-renowned architect Robert A.M. Stern. Opening to enthusiastic student reviews in May 2008, this stunning, four-story masterpiece houses student rooms notable for their views of magnificent Lake Hollingsworth, meeting rooms, four student lounges, and a large student kitchen. Custom-designed details include an impressive grand staircase, a loft lounge on the fourth floor, pendant lighting by the avante-garde designer Enrico Franzolini, sleek Danish-style furniture throughout, ceramic tile and granite countertops. The second building, to be named in honor of son Nicholas, is currently under construction and will open in August.

Dell Hall

Similar to Hollis Hall in design, Dell is a traditional residence hall housing both male and female students with all double-occupancy rooms with furnishings built into the design of the facility.

Jenkins Hall

Home to sophomore, junior, and senior men, Jenkins offers both a traditional and suite-styled setting with all double-occupancy rooms and furniture that can be arranged to your preference.

Miller Hall

Completed in January 2004, Miller Hall connects Hollis Hall and Dell Hall to form a larger living community. You can choose between single- and double-occupancy rooms with a shared bath.

Publix Commons

A grouping of three residence halls, the Publix Commons are conveniently located on the corner of McDonald Street and Ingraham Avenue, close to just about everything on campus. Buildings 61 and 62 are for female students and also serve as the home for the FSC sororities and females who chose to live independently. Building 61 is a male residence hall home to FSC fraternities and independent men. All three buildings offer suite-style living in which six students each have their own rooms and share a living area and bathroom.
